The New Colossus

An interactive version of Emma Lazarus' "The New Colossus", which appears on the base of the Statue of Liberty. The project was commissioned by Nextbook Press to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty's dedication.

The annotations are written by Esther Schor, author of the biography, Emma Lazarus. The project was designed by myself with programming assistance by Joel Gillman, art direction (Nextbook Press) by Len Small and Wayne Hoffman, managing director of special projects (Nextbook Press). iPad photo by Len Small.
